Championing the Farmed Environment invites you to an evening webinar of presentations and discussions on trees, carbon & climate change; the role of farming in achieving net zero.

Ceris Jones from the NFU and Chris Waterfield from the Forestry Commission will be on the panel alongside Neil Furniss of Caynton House Farm.
The government has committed to increase tree planting and this event will identify both the environmental and evolving financial opportunities in this market place.

Our guest speakers:

Ceris Jones – ZERO Carbon Farming
Ceris is the NFU’s national Climate Change advisor. She has a background in national and international research and industry covering agricultural and environmental issues. She will talk about agricultural carbon auditing tools and some of the practical measures farmers can take to reduce their carbon footprint and make financial savings.

Chris Waterfield  – The Woodland Carbon Code & Woodland Carbon Guarantee
Chris is a Carbon and Water Advisor with The Forestry Commission. He will cover the role of woodland planting in helping tackle climate change as well providing additional income based on the financial value of the carbon units captured and stored in woodland.
