Resource explained: 

This soil summary from NRM laboratories is based on soil samples submitted between June 2016 and May 2017, and summarises data according to the crop categories and optimum nutrient levels specified in the eighth edition of Nutrient Management Guide RB209. Focusing on soil sampling, it provides tips and information to help with the sampling process.

Findings & recommendations: 
  • The summary includes information on what you should do before taking a sample, where to sample, how deep, making sure you have the correct tools, preparing a sample, avoiding cross contamination and sample labelling.
